Role assigned to: rob barnett

You are a mercenary who's long since given up the job and now spend most of your time drinking alone in the bar, drowning your sorrows and past regrets in alcohol. The amount of people you've wronged and the violence you've wrought has made you numb to almost any form of joy; you have a very pessimistic perception of the world. Donovan is a companion in our mod so a wide range of emotions and volumes will be required in deliveries.

Record all audition lines while referring to the notes below for each line and do one take of each line.

For the first audition line, you are being asked to right the wrongs you've committed in the past. You're quite tired of looking back. All you see are mountains that you're far too exhausted and ill-equipped to overcome. You hope that when the courier faces a similar situation as yourself, he/she doesn't decide to play the hero as that can only end in suffering.

For the second audition line, the courier is trying to be optimistic about your abilities to turn your life around. Moreover, you've committed to some efforts to amend some past mistakes, but all have blown up in your face. You're quite upset now in all honesty. You really want the courier to know how fruitless you feel all these recent efforts are. You can yell a bit here.

For the third audition line, you are in the middle of an intense firefight and just ran out of ammo. You are yelling across the battlefield to the courier while gunfire fills the air. Emotionally, you're a bit pissed that you've run out because you really want to kill these assholes that are pinning you and the courier.

  • I'm a little too old to play a vigilante, kid. Besides, what good would that do now?

  • Just one big trail of blood. That's my whole legacy. So tell me, what's the point? Huh?

  • I'm out of ammo!

Last line sounded more like you were yelling to yourself than yelling to someone else in the distance. I did like the build-up in energy in Line 2, only issue was that there might have been some audio peaking.

Thank you! I appreciate the pointers. I’ll see if I can fix the clipping issue, and try redoing the 3rd line also.
