A long-time companion to The Narrator. He is lighthearted and is always smiling. Currently working on his Ph.D. Has a sense of humor, but will not budge when it comes to his beliefs. Has a tendency to blow up should someone push him too far.
"The Best Friend" is a major role for the upcoming podcast, The Marksbury Incident. There are no set vocal requirements, but he should be able to comfortably convey both confidence and fear, depending on the situation. Please note that transgender applicants, regardless of transition status or HRT, are accepted. Applicants must be available to rehearse at least once every two weeks (Once things get rolling), and have access to Discord, as this is where rehearsals, discussions, and announcements will take place.
[An emotional moment with a childhood friend who has been struggling lately] You were the one who got me into science. You know that, right? If it weren't for you, I'd probably be fixing cars for my dad right now, being miserable the whole time. Could you imagine? [Laughs] ...What I'm getting at, is that you're important to me. You're the most important person in my life, and I hate seeing you like this. I know you're getting help, but if you ever need MORE help, you know where to find me. Just promise you won't shut me out again.
[Goofing off with friends, mocking an announcer] Ladies, gentlemen, and those who shun the binary, I present to you today, a once in a lifetime experience! In a rare, wild twist of fate, the moron standing beside me has decided to eat something other than a Hot Pocket for once in his goddamn life!
[After a betrayal of horrific proportions. Brimming with venom] I don't think you get it. This isn't some little "Whoops! Sorry, won't happen again!" kinda thing. Do you have ANY idea what all this means? People have died, people are going to KEEP dying! You didn't think, you just acted, and now everyone else is going to have to pick up the pieces! Or those of us that are left, at least. Someday, someone is going to put a bullet in that smug little face of yours. Then, and only then, maybe the world will be okay again.
