Would you please re-do this with the confidence up like 200%? I might have thrown you off with the wording "little apprehension" so have updated and clarified in the role description. I also put an audition of my own take on the lines if that helps too.

    Oh, and to add onto that, forgot to mention. The scene I have in mind for the second line speech is how Spike explains the Crystalling in the season 6 opening. I'm looking for that kind of "matter-of-fact" attitude he has there.

Spike based on the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic TV series. This story takes place during season 8. The season acts as a backdrop or is notably changed throughout the chapters. This particular arc takes place before Spike gets his wings in season 8.

Spike takes the news of Rainbow Dash's transformation easily and even tries to convince the ponies who eventually become mevs that the matter is not a big deal. He thinks the fact that Rainbow is a master mev can easily be revealed if asked about. He only grows apprehensive when Rainbow Dash is about to eat Twilight's magic with Twilight's knowledge and permission. Rainbow asks for him and Starlight to leave the room since it's her first time. For the audition lines here, he is not apprehensive at all. He uses the Fledgling Hunt games as a chance to act as a commentator like how he once did for Rainbow Dash and Applejack's Iron Pony competition in the episode Fall Weather Friends.

  • Oh Rainbow Dash. The others said you became a magic-eating vampire. Is that true?

    (Context: Spike is alone in the library when Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, and Starlight Glimmer come to find him for looking up Twilight's schedule. He has at the very least been informed of Rainbow's transformation. He says this line with a casual air of mild curiosity.)

  • All of you are overthinking this. Go ahead and tell them if they ask. We live in Equestria, in Ponyville near both Canterlot and the Everfree forest at that. Lots of weird, magical things happen around here. It'll just be another part of the background to them. This castle was a big deal when it first grew, but now it's just part of how things are here. Seriously, I know we like to think we're special and important, but your students have lives outside of you. I know, and I won't be in your pack. I'm still here. A lot of the students are now used to having non-ponies as classmates at the school too. Really, it's just another day in Ponyville.

    (Context: The group is discussing how much they should tell others, mainly students at the School of Friendship, about Rainbow's transformation into a master mev and the fact that Twilight Sparkle has to be without magic for a few days since she willingly let Rainbow Dash eat it. Spike does not think this is a big deal, and that they are overthinking it. He is confident in these words and speaks with the same matter-of-fact attitude in how he once explained what a Crystalling is in the first episode of Season 6.)

  • Tonight is another Fledgling Hunt. Rainbow Dash has one hour to capture either Rarity, Pinkie Pie, or Applejack. Unlike our first two-player hunt, magic is banned for this round to even things out for our three competitors and up the challenge for our chaser. 

    (Context: With Discord's help, the ponies set up a few games to help decide the order of some of Rainbow's fledglings. Spike uses it as an opportunity to act as commentator. Please state this line with Spike's "commentator" voice like in the episode Fall Weather Friends.)
