Jack, sister to Jess Mare, is a rambunctious often spunky young boy. He and his sister were displaced by the massacre in Keva. Rescued from the chaos by Colin Freeman, the two siblings are always by one another's side, even up to their untimely deaths.
Young, 12-14 years old. Both of the Mare children are a bit naive, often letting their curiosity get the better of them. Jack is the notorious rule-breaker often bringing Jess along on an escapade.
