Dust has not bonded with an animal spirit yet but it will eventually be a snow leopard named Tolm. Dust is, very reluctantly, roommates with Dream and is very rarely engaging in any conversation with him or his friends. He'd rather be looking at his knife collection than talk to the ball of yellow sunshine. While Dust wishes he could run away he can't due to his studies and the fact Dream won't leave him alone whenever they get a moment alone together. Other than constant annoyance Dust is pretty chilled out, strangely owning a knife collection that's stored under his bed and either studying or walking outside

After he gets bonded to Tolm he doesn't ask his wish until much later. Tolm gives him better eye sight and let's him be lighter on his feet. He also gives him a handgun
