Jarl is the husband of Vita. The two are recent citizens of Keva and like many of the Keva's Fallen, have been displaced by The Myriad's attack. Jarl and Vita quickly escape the plaza's chaos, swimming across the lake and into the woods. Though they were the first to flee, they are also the first found by The Myriad's search parties. Jarl's death is cold and remorseless, as it happens right in front of Vita. This is one of the events that kick off Flight 2.
Jarl's main joy in life is the fact that he and Vita are soon to be parents. Finding a home and community for their family is of the utmost importance. Jarl is always seeking to make Vita and their baby, Yula, comfortable.
