Chinchou is a Water and Electric type Pokémon. It communicates with other Chinchou by flashing its lights. It will also flash its lights calmly for catching prey. Positive and negative electricity releases from its antennae. A soft high voice would suit this Pokémon.

Lanturn is the evolved form of Chinchou. The lights it has are bright enough to illuminate the sea's surface from the depths for over three miles away. This gave it the nickname "The Deep-Sea Star" because of its extremely bright lights. Just like its previous evolution, it can lure prey with its bright lights. I would imagine Lanturn still having a very high voice, but loses the softness in it's voice and starts to have a fun and playful voice.
