Jackalyn Everhart is the best friend of our protagonist, North. Jackalyn can easily be described as the complete opposit of North. As to how these two opposites became friends is beyond most people's knowledge. Jackie is an outgoing student who knows how to relax from time to time, and not worry about the past or future. Her focus is simply on enjoying the present. She tries to get her best friend to see the fun in the little things. When she and her friend enter a completely new world, she is quick to find an adventure for them both, this time determined to make her friend have fun while it still lasts.
"Gee, what's up with the stares. They're looking at us like we did this."
(Talking lowly to North to not draw in much attention from the people surrounding them in this scene)
"Ho boy - that was close ha, ha! I don't suppose you have a grapple hook in that magic ball of yours do ya?"
(Sounding a bit uneasy, in this scene they almost fell off a cliff. And laughing nervously as she asks her guide the question)
"Then accept. You know it calls to you... Go to it."
(Speaking in a fake evil way, trying to get her friend to accept a friendly wager)
