Our main protagonist, Northela Bourne is a socially awkward student simply looking to keep her grades at the top of the charts. Sleepovers, parties, movies, basically anything fun is forigne to her. She may not like to admit it, but she isolates herself from many people out of fear she'll be rejected for being herself. Never feeling as though she belonged with the common crown, North's only source of normality is through her best friend Jackalyn. The two are inseperatable, even if the two get into fights over going to a party every now and then.
"*Gasp* I didn't mean to! I-It was just right there, and they were running at me with their weapons, and it kinda just happened!"
(Speaking kinda rushed, she is surrounded by people in this scene who are looking at her with shocked expressions on their faces, and she thinks she's in trouble)
"I think I found it... Look. Up."
(Speaking mater of factly. She'll point up and state the next two words slowly.)
"Ha, ha, ha! I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh - I know this is serious. Does anyone know why I can't stop laughing?!"
(Laughing unstopably. In this scene she is splashed by a laughing potion, so she's laughing throughout this entire sentance)
