Personality: Gale is soft-spoken and gently received, shy and a bit timid. He appears rather innocent at times, but he holds many secrets. There are occasions where he’s shy around others, but in he has gained some confidence in his later years.
There is a part where Gale is in disguise and his voice should be unrecognizable. He acts as confident, egocentric and strong. It is indeed an act.

Iori Asahina – Brothers conflict (Minus the Yandere in Iori)
Hideyoshi – Baka and Test (Gale also has a level of femininity to him, as does hideyoshi who is often mistaken as a woman)

Description:Bishonen (Attractive Male), Teenager/young, adult Medium-high tone, airy voice. Ability to switch to an unrecognizable voice (for comedic effect)
[Hyping himself up/scared/comedic, to himself/mirror] “It’s alright- you don’t have to fear any longer! She’s just… She’s your friend! You can do it. Just say ‘will you go for coffee’. It’s harmless. If she wants it to be a date, she’ll make it a date. If not then you’ll be stuck not knowing, but that’s okay. [sadly] Because- you’ll never deserve her. Even if she were to disdainfully date you, it’s just that. You’re not good enough.”
[Deeper, unrecognizable voice- Confident but mysterious] "Don't be frightened, I'm nothing less than a friend. I am only here for your well-being. Smile for me, darling. You should not be afraid for I am the one you have long anticipated: your prince."
[romantic, Shy] “I’m not a puppet of my own show anymore. So please don’t be afraid to feel that way for me. I want to love you, as me. [softly] So please… let me kiss you. Let me show you that I’m brave for once. [softer]Can I? [very softly] Promise? [kisses her] Again? [kisses her again] I promise I’ll be there for you now- I won’t be scared anymore. Now I can say the words of a brave man: ‘I love you’.”
I'm not sure about the forum creators idea for Gale, but i personally think he would sound very upset with himself, and shy. All I would request is sounding a little more Down. Apart from that I love this audition the most, as it sounds like I imagine Gale to, and the audio is crisp and clear! :)
I agree with you in that his audio is good (other than only being half of the stereo) but, with no disrespect to Chris, the acting just isn't there. In fact, I believe your acting was stronger so don't count yourself out. Like many of us, you have some audio issues but that can be improved with space treatment and editing. To Chris, you have the other side of the coin. You have a great voice and recording techniques. Open yourself up to feel the emotions of the character and you will do even better.
*Raises hand* I'm the creator~ I can answer to that! As Kaibren said the stereo issue (Audio only appearing on one side of the speakers) is nothing too big. I actually do stereo mapping anyway, and a quick mono setting would be easy. (Stereo mapping = changing volumes on speakers to make the person sound like they are in different locations.) You have a lovely voice, Chris! I think you have a ton of potential. I can tell, the way you read for the lines is very fluid and you have the makings of a great actor. I just don't think Gale was right for you. As Thunder pointed out, he would be a bit more shy, but you're so confident must've rubbed on him :) Don't let my critique get in your way- it's just not my vision. It's yours and that's super cool! To Kaibren: I agree with you. Aside from lack of experience, I think I hold back a lot because I'm shy of others hearing me (I live in an apartment) I appreciate the honesty and respect.
You're lacking experience? I couldn't even tell~ I've been in the VO works for about eight years, so you can trust me when I say you have lots of potential. I understand how the apartment thing can be a little daunting! Sometimes that can be to your advantage! You have tons of potential so I wouldn't worry too much about it. You have a lovely voice and some great grounds for emotions, fluency and other things. Obviously, the 'being heard' aspect is out of your control, but just keep on keeping on and you'll do wonderfully!

I definitely feel that now I must push as hard as I can to reach my dream of being a voice actor.
