Dog is the leader of The Mesan Rascals, the bandit/outlaw/mercenary gang that took part in the Wedding Massacre, the event that sparked The Mademoiselle's journey. Dog is a threatening individual, cold and calculative, he's able to see whatever someone's thinking just by knowing who he's talking with.

Oh, you're asking me how I'M doing? Great question. You see, I have rats in my home. Correct, RATS, of all the damn things I coulda had. Now, these rats, I let 'em do their own thing, you know, so long as they let me help them with... hoarding.
