N's Grandmother who appears in flashback episodes. Kindhearted, and a great cook. She helped N discover his passion for cooking. She is often his saving grace when his mother's scoldings are too harsh.
Voice: Senior type voice. Any voice range is fine, whichever suits the image best. I'm open to any accent (she looks of asian descent, but I can't say for sure. currently resides in the UK, I'm not sure how long she's lived there, but I don't think she picked up the accent)(Bringing N back inside after his mother sent him on timeout): Instead of having him stand outside doing nothing and waste precious time, I'd rather have him do something productive like help me out in the kitchen.
(Coaching her grandson on how to make a dish): You put one carrot stick here, some bean sprouts there, some mushroom here... Each one has to face the same direction! Then, dip your finger in the corn starch mixture. It's a glue to keep the roll from falling apart! Then fold it like this. And ta-da! Think you can do it?
(Trying to get N to stop crying after she killed the chicken for dinner): Ah no! Don't worry, this isn't your chicken! Uh, he flew out the window onto that tree branch over there!
