Tim Drake, a boy, left with nothing after the death of his father, a criminal under the occassional employ for Two-Face, was given a home and a new life by Bruce Wayne/Batman who adopted the boy as his ward and trained him to be his new partner in his war on Crime.

The role of Tim Drake/Robin has been played by several young Actors: Matthew Valencia in The New Batman Adventues, Eli Marienthal in Batman: Mystery Of The Batwoman along with the characters first appearance in Static Shock, and Shane Sweet in Drake's second appearance on Static Shock. In Batman: The Adventures Continue, Tim Drake is reaching his teen years, and while the voice doesnt truly need to sound like any of the three actors who've played Drake throughout the DCAU, Drake's voice needs to be youthful and fun, but also serious at times.

  • Hero time!

  • Sorry we’re late, but we can’t wait to spoil your fun.

  • Nothing Goo-man can fling that I can’t handle.

Oooh! There's a bunch to comment on here. Welcome to the world of voice acting! In auditioning 2-3 takes is STANDARD for a line and 1-2 is standard here in CCC. The point of different takes is to give VERY different ideas to the same line. Confident and cocky before a fight vs in a frantic fight for example! Which brings me to my second bit of advice: OVER-EMOTE. You want to bring as much life to the character as possible and that almost always means with emotion especially in action / hero stuff. The third thing I'd say is while any mic / room is great for starting out room noise will absolutely MURDER your chances of your audition getting picked. As a beginner, learning how to use the remove noise feature in audacity will make a huge difference. Good luck and welcome!

Thank you for the feedback. l looked into other audacity functions such as what you mentioned and now know more things about the program. l know about the standard amount of lines. l overthought and lost track especially with the first line. l will take all of these with me for other projects. Thank you for the feedback.
