When Eggman realized his ego was leading to him failing to think his plans through and get in over his head, he constructed Orbot to keep things level and serve as his straight man. The Doctor vastly underestimated how much of a toll Orbot would take on his mental health. When Eggman departs for the Tree of Resonance, Orbot comes along as the coordinator of the Badniks and Eggman's right-hand robot as usual.

Matching Kirk Thornton's portrayal of Orbot from Sonic Colors to Team Sonic Racing would be ideal.

  • (matter-of-fact) Boss, it seems the Badniks we dropped on the way failed to stop Sonic.

  • (sarcastic) Why yes, because attempting to capitalize on an unstable, uncontrollable and unknown energy source has NEVER gone wrong for you before.

  • (exasperated) I always tell him to avoid using the situational mechs, but does he listen?
