The second member of the Ursus Student Self-Governing Group, Istina was a studious member of her school's originum studies committee before she and her friends were forced to flee for Rhodes Island during the Chernobog Incident. She remains one of the most rationally minded members of the trio and their primary speaker during meeting with the Doctor and Rhodes Island staff.
If Zima is hot-headed and rude, Istina is cool-headed and rational to a fault, giving her a higher aptitude of integration within the pharmaceutical company as both an operator and as a data analyst during operations. This also has come to the detriment of her sociability, as her introverted nature has lent her to foster few friendships with many of the people onboard with the exceptions of her current friends, Kalt'sit and the Doctor.

I think I prefer the first take for this one, as the accent you gave adds more authenticity to your softer speaking voice which in turn gives a more natural strength to your more aloof tone. The tone itself is well realized, as the less emotional and more careful way of speaking here gives more credence to your audition. Delivery itself is slow and methodical, giving your words more impact in spite of how low and quiet the character is portrayed by you; which in turn is a good rendition of the character.
