Both your character voice and acting here are incredible! Especially that scream! If there's one thing to suggest working on, it's the diction in the first line. Especially on the word 'misunderstanding', you very very slightly trip over the line, which isn't very noticeable at all, but it's really the only thing I can think to suggest for this. Thank you so much for your audition!

Thank you for the feedback. It's very encouraging and inspiring me to try again! BTW, just so you're aware – that 'trip' as you called it, wasn't unintentional. I spent quite a bit of time in the United States, and I noticed that on the West side (California/Oregon/Washington) there is a tendency for people there to pronounce verb endings '-ing' as 'een'. Like, one friend I had there, when describing activities to a guest at the resort where we worked would say: 'swimm-een, runn-een, jump-een, horserid-een.' I thought it'd help me get into character especially since the US localisation is supposedly set in LA. But since you aren't' pleased with that, and it's not someth-een you enjoy listen-een to, I'll be happy to start reaudition-een! :D

Ah fair enough! It just came across a little jumbled to me, a Brit, haha, so I decided it'd be better if it was just a little bit clearer. Thank you for being so responsive to the feedback!

Frank Sahwit is the key witness in this case and, spoiler-alert, the actual murderer. His voice should be able to change from falsely sweet and happy to nervous and panicky to extremely angry at the drop of a hat.

The sides they read from:
  • I'm a simple newspaper salesman! Terribly sorry about the misunderstanding!

  • Ngh... grrrah! Gwaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Shutupshutupshutup! I hate you!
