Larry Butz is one of Phoenix's lifelong best friends, who's always getting himself into trouble. Speaking of trouble, he's also the defendant in this case. His voice should range from over-exaggerated and unnecessarily emotional to confident and oblivious to angrily defensive.
(after being asked whether he went to the victim's apartment on the day of the murder) Heh? Heh heh. Well, maybe I did, and maybe I didn't! Who's to say? Gulp!
