-You don't need to read the personality section, it's long: but it is there if you need it.

Personality: To classify someone as intellectually gifted is to say that, based on their: conditions of living, surrounding environment and assimilation of peers, they have surpassed the cognitive expectations set for their control-group and have achieved something greater. And while the result of the mental enlightenment will vary based on these factors, it is generally agreed upon that this person is substantially better off than others.

And while this will hold true for some, it isnt a reality for Taro Miyashita, the first year prodigy of the Sendai Vocational Academy. His sophistication is the foundation of deep-seated introversion and has single-handedly dictated the poor conditions of his social life. The grasp of friendship he retains is defined by the characters of his favorite, and only book: Reign of Olympus.

The interactions in this book attempt to explain the theory of creation, and how life came to be through polytheism. The main character of the book, Akeru the Serpent, travels to an unpopulated Earth and partakes in a battle, with nine other gods, to dictate the future of the world. Following many strenuous battles, and tiring journeys, Akeru is one of the final two gods remaining. Yet, despite all his endeavors, he chooses to sacrifice his own life and allow his best friend, Usagi the Rabbit, to win and create a world worth living in for humans.

And while Taro does regard this book as a work of fiction, it holds a significant place in his heart and another in his backpack. It allows him to see the complexity of people, and how they arent defined by their origin, but instead the choices they make. That being said, because he believes people are defined by their choices, he can be rather stubborn and unforgiving when he faced with people he feels have made the wrong ones.

At the age of fifteen, most adolescents feel that they have a pretty ideal understanding of love, and Taro is no exception to this. He claims to know what true love is, yet, hasnt the slightest grasp that its more than physical intimacy. He doesnt have a preference when it comes to appearance, gender or even age; but, often develops feelings for people who are dictatorial. This is most likely his attempt of paralleling the only relationship hes been exposed to, his mother and father, who are commanding of both each-other and him.

  • I.. suppose I have your name scribbled in here.

  • Dont worry little star. Ill be your friend. Ill come outside every night to see you. Dont worry about me being cold, Ill be fine. I can remember where you are. Right there, next to the moon. Ill be with you.

  • Perhaps it wasnt because of my age, and instead it was just implausible that someone of my physical attributes wouldnt simply be killed.
