Wounded man is a guy who gets killed by Mickey Cohen’s henchman at the beginning. Before he gets killed he begs for Cohen to save his life. This is a very small role with only couple of lines. Obviously the voice needs to be desperate. He's about to die and he knows it. Use your emotions and shout the last words.
You don't have to do this Mickey. Please, I'm begging you. NO!! PLEASE NO!!
This was pretty good. I appreciate all the different variations you did. Your delivery could be a little bit clearer at some points. Viewer needs to hear clearly that the man's name is Mickey. Anyway, good job on this. I'm still going to keep this role open for other auditions but at the moment you're my first choice for this part.
Much appreciated! I'm fairly new to the world of auditioning for voice work, so its good to know how to improve. Clarity is something I'm working on, I think I put too much of an emphasis on my accents and the lines themselves over what is actually being said.
Just keep practicing. It's always possible to improve. You have a nice voice after all. This was a bit of a nitpicking from my part because you didn't really have much background for this character. Like I said, I appreciate your own approach on this audition EDIT: The part is yours! :)
