Monika is a self-aware computer program originating from a dating simulator known as Doki Doki Literature Club. Monika is notably smart, confident, athletic, and has a strong desire for order and control. Despite her cutesy exterior, she should has a darker alterior motive driving her through this experience in a new game. Her voice should sound super clear and punctual, but with a sarcastic flair to her, as if she knows something the player doesn't at all times.
“It certainly took some effort, but I’ve broken free of the code in that clubroom, and am now here with you for eternity!” “Your mind is quite corrupted. Do you happen to have a glitch in the system? Perhaps I should check your character files after all this.”
“How cute, you think you can win? Sorry, but this game appears to be purposefully made hard, and I don’t want to screw up the difficulty.” “Hmm, I wonder if I should delete you right now, and then all of this will be rendered unnecessary, since you’ll have never existed!”
“I’ve been told many times that I’m an A-I program, or a living glitch. Of course, none of that is true. I’m Just Monika.”
