(eagerly) "Want to hear about the Five Whales of this world?"
(explaining enthusiastically) "Okay. I’ll tell you what I know. The five islands floating in the Sky are called Whales. Each Whale has its own nation. The five nations are: our very own Sadal Suud Frontier; Diadem, Land of the Clouds; Anuenue, the Rainbow Nation; Mira, City of Illusion… And, of course, Alfard Empire."
"But some say there’s another island, another nation. Legends tell of a land of witches at the far end of the world. I don’t know if I buy that, though."
I thought you read this at a very comfortable pace! I'd like to hear a bit more enthusiasm shine through though, especially for that last line. My biggest critique is for Line 2, the part where you're naming each island. I realize the punctuation in this line can be confusing with its semicolons - so try reading it like this: "The five nations are: our very own Sadal Suud Frontier (pause), Diadem, Land of the Clouds (pause), Anuenue, the Rainbow Nation (pause), Mira, City of Illusion… And, of course, Alfard Empire." Aside from that, not a bad read, and extra props for pronouncing all those island names correctly!
