Poe has been kidnapped by a mysterious alien race, taken out of his place in time just days before his recorded death. He's trapped with the Doctor and Emma in a mysterious alternate dimension with seemingly no way out, pursued by monsters of his own making. (Appears in episodes 7 and 8.)
This is my last story. I don’t know where I got the pen and paper I write upon. The only things in this room is a solitary candle and the bed I lie upon. I can see a door, but I have not the strength to move to it and see what lies beyond. Curiously, I found the pen and paper inside the tattered remains of my jacket, despite having no recollection of carrying them.
This will be a very dull story. This is a story about me. But, more interestingly, a story of two of the most wonderful women I’ve ever met.
This is the last story of Edgar Allan Poe.
As he took my baggage, I was not to know that it would be the last time I would lay eyes upon my possessions. It’s not something one thinks of very often, but there must, inevitably, be a last time where one sees the objects, the small mementos that make up his life, for the last time. For me, that time was now.
I think I’m beginning to understand. This whole ordeal - this has been some form of battle of the wills against this… Teller of the Port?
