Creepy. Mysterious. Unstable.

Unmei Seishin is not a real medium, but believes herself to be. Being the owner of an exceptional mind, she is easily the smartest member of the cast, but is also ailed by untreated Schizophrenia, and bouts of dellusion supported by Hope's Peak in order to feed into her "talent" and study her mind, as her case is somewhat unprecedented in the psychological community - due to the sheer intelligence and brainpower, her hallucinations seem to always point out to her subconscious information about the people around her and her environment, effectively making her the Ultimate Detective. She is an invaluable asset to the group during the killing game, but also needs special care and often has bouts that bring as much trouble as help, involuntarily.

(Disclaimer - I study mental illness as part of my Master's degree, and have had personal contact with people who suffer from Schizophrenia. I know reading the character like this may seem like a shallow representation of the illness, but I did my best to honor it and make it both into a compelling narrative element and a truthful honoring of the schizophrenic experience - that being said, I am not a psychologist myself and do not suffer from it, so I also recommend taking it as it is - not a fully inaccurate nor completely accurate representation of it, but something that does try to be as faithful and respectful as is possible.)

Unmei sounds monotone and neutral most of the time, if a bit tired, having a low, deep sounding voice.
