  • “Ah! Perfect!” Rangifera said. “We were just wondering when you would show up. Fallende, Stalwart, my courageous colleagues, this is Daring Do, our excellent employer.”

  • [calling out to other members in a blizzard. Try not to whisper-shout.]

    “On it.” Rangifera’s antlers glowed. “HEY!” she bellowed, far beyond her usual voice. “FALLENDE! STALWART! ARE YOU OUT THERE? IT’S RANGIFERA! DARING, WINDROSE, AND I EACH FOUGHT OFF OUR WOLVES!”

  • [discussing whether to stay or leave]

    Rangifera lightly bopped Stalwart on the head and shrugged. “Half interested, half too lazy to turn around. Staying, my practical pegasus.”
