Pocoloco is a lucky man. He is a carefree comedic relief and you don't have to push that archetype any further than it is. Most of the marvel and enjoyment that comes from watching Pocoloco is how there is no possible way a man this inexperienced to make it so far in the Steel Ball Run.

  • (Volume 1, Chapter 2) I'm counting... Counting the clouds in the sky.I wanted to do this before. I wanted to see how many clouds I could count in one day.

  • (Volume 1, Chapter 2) But listen... I'm the opposite! "The opposite of the worst!" Starting next month, I'm gonna be at the happiest point in my life for two months! 

  • (Volume 1, Chapter 2) Aw man, I've lost count of the clouds. Which one was the 48th..? Oh, I'll just start over.
