Lyssa is a Guard character in the Second chapter of the story. Though she currently doesn't have much of a presence, it's likely this could develop depending on the journey the story takes, and possibly on what a Voice actor could bring to this role.
What we do know is that her origin is a mystery to us, as with everyone in the place she inhabits. She is very distrusting of any new people and faces, and is loyal to fulfilling her duties; she doesn't want to be on the wrong side of their violent boss. She's not especially frightened of him, but would rather not unnecessarily cause any conflicts. A keen and capable fighter, Lyssa is strong willed, stubborn and steadfast on her beliefs and where she stands. Unlikely to speak unless wholly necessary, she uses choice words she wishes would fall on slightly less selective ears, such as those of her Guard duty partner, Lazlow, who annoys her thoroughly.

Interrupting the player's greeting. They're trying to get through the gate Lyssa's guarding, and Lyssa knows she likely won't let them through.
Why is it you're here?
The player replies mentioning their friend, who is Lyssa's boss. She believes the player's lying....Friend?
Her Guard partner Lazlow arrives carrying armfuls of food & interrupting Lyssa, who groans.
What took you so- wait, where on the gods' land did you get those?
Lyssa is trying to have a hushed discussion with Lazlow, who's being a terrible guard very blasé and is speaking loud enough for the player to hear, and then some.
We shouldn't tell them anything, we don't know who they are!!
Lazlow, jokingly- "Lyssa, 'dearest'-"
She huffs in frustration. Lazlow continues "If they're here in the first place, they likely already know something, don't you think? Besides, they already know our identities!"
...They know my name, because YOU said it. They know my identity- you're safe!!
Lazlow- "Well-ah. Yeah, you have a point there."
Lyssa tries to resume her Guard position best she can.
They're looking to meet with the boss. Their...friend.
Lazlow- "Riiiiight. Hm. 'Friend', you say? Well, didn't think that was even a thing."
Lyssa speaks quietly but fiercely.
It isn't...
Lazlow and the player are about to go through the gate. Just before the player can get through , Lyssa holds it slightly ajar with her hand, blocking the player's way. She's speaking to Lazlow, who until this point has managed to keep his own name a secret. She decides to reveal his name so that she's no longer the only one culpable.
We get in trouble for this, I'll be sure to tell them who it was, Lazlow.

For Lyssa, we're looking for a slightly more hushed voice generally, (somewhat 2B from NieR Automata), and definitely a hushed argument vibe for this scene :D Feel free to retake if you'd like, no pressure though :D
