Hey man! Thank you so much for the audition! This audition was pretty good, but however your tone seems a little high for this voice, but there is nothing wrong with that! My critique is the audio quality, I could hear a lot of background noise with your mic sadly! What mic do you use at the moment? I can certainly help you with mics!
Thank you for your kind words! I’m new to this, so any help is really appreciated! I use a Blue Yeti USB mic, and currently trying to figure out how best to use it. Thoughts? Thanks again ^-^
Hey! I have one of those right now too, I am actually updating to an XLR mic, but I can still help! My advice for the Blue Yeti is to use the cardoid option, it's the option that looks like a heart on the knob and get the gain at a volume you like. I suggest getting a foam cover and pop filter for this mic too because it picks up a lot of sound! If you even want to go as far as getting a boom stand on amazon! They have a couple options for the Blue Yeti that are cheap! That way the mic is at least away from the computer, use Audacity or Garageband to clean up the audio and you'll be good to go to start with! And hey no problem!
