Personality:  Risei is the overbearing father of Kirei, and he has impossibly high expectations of his son.

  • When Kirei was 7, he made a picture of a butterfly out of macaroni.  I threw it in the garbage right in front of him in order to show him that I will not accept such mediocrity.  There are children that age in Indonesia who make designer sneakers!

  • Whenever my son and I went on a trip together when he was younger, he wouldn't stop complaining.  'Dad, I'm tired', he'd whine.  'Dad, I'm hungry!'  'Dad, I've been running non-stop for 13 hours now, can I sit in the car with you?'
