July Antares is a punk/goth/Rock 16 years old teen coping with daily life teenage problems. Only armed with an aspiration to go beyond the superficiality and the push society constantly tries to mold upon people, she's an anti-conformist and has a rebellious attitude but has an upmost respect towards any type of art/entertainment.
She struggles at school but not because she isn't brilliant or capable, but because she doesn't believe it's worth the effort, so she only does the bare minimum. Her parents often fight. She would like to just leave and show everybody that she can succeed more than any of them by following her dreams and guts. She doesn't have a lot of actual friends, there is one, but she has distanced herself from her lately.
Despite the attitude she doesn't smoke or drink alcohol usually,
She starts off as quite solitary, she's kind of insecure about this whole online videos thing, but because of a recent event, she is starting to understand that she will have to learn to talk to people and learn to accept and embrace other people in her life in order to ever be truly happy and successful. However, you can sense and see her reluctance as she forces herself to stick to the scripts and approach things with a more positive attitude. When overwhelmed she usually just changes or drops the subject entirely. She also tries to hide her emotional turmoil/confusion with crude humor and jokes. Over the course of this journey she will grow, change, and be more and more comfortable to share ever more of her more personal thoughts and deeper feelings in the VLOG sections of the episodes.

Now let's talk a bit about myself and why I decided to do this, what this is and why you should absolutely (not) care. Just kidding... I think. I don't know. Whatever. Here goes.

Anyways, yeah. My pathetic intro is pretty much done. If I didn't drive you away by now then there's actually a chance you're asleep, or someone entered your apartment in the meantime and brutally murdered you while this video was playing.That would mean I was one of the last people you saw. That's cool. I hope you have a nice passage to the afterlife.

(Thinks) MMh... So, my internet was out all day today. That kind of sucked, I got so bored at some point that I actually made the drastic decision to do my homework. I usually do it on the bus on my way to school, but I guess tomorrow I will just sit back, put my headphones on and relax on my way to hell for a change. Hey, I can actually have an excuse to ignore everybody on the bus that asks me if the seat next to me is available. Because you know.. headphones. Can't hear s*it. Unless they tap me... which sometimes they do, and I just want to punch them in the face. It's not that I don't like people. I do. It's just that I don't know, just feeling like sometimes I just want to be left the heck alone. Feels such a chore to talk to anyone some days. Ok, for me most days. But at least I can talk in front of a camera now, I guess that's a small step in the right direction?Au revoir.
Oof just realized I mispronounced "au revior". French is not my strong suit, sorry for that ^_^;;
