Clayton Lokken is the adopted son of Em. He's lived in Rapture all his life and after he's adopted he becomes very hopeful and happy. He's curious of the surface and his audio diaries show him growing up in Rapture and how the events effect him.
He starts off happy and hopeful, but gradually as times go on he's forced to grow up fast and gradually becomes more withdrawn and reserved. His story is very much a story of a loss of innocence.
Clayton is remarkably clever for his age, picking things up quickly and is a child progeny at the age of six/seven.
His audio diaries start at the age of four to the age of twelve.
