Clay is a character from the canon series, however thirty years have passed since the original series. Anything that happens throughout the remainder of the new books has no baring on this series.
Clay: (interrupting) What Tsunami is trying to say is; we aren’t trying to be discriminatory, I promise, we have plenty of students from Pantala, but we’re just asking that you understand our situation. We have an obligation here: to make sure that all of our students feel safe and are safe, and well, I don’t know how we are supposed to be sure that he is in case of an emergency.
Clay: (defensive) Peril sleeps in a separate cave. She helps keep the students safe. No dragon is at risk from her.
Clay: (solemn) He’d be proud of what you just did.
I really like this! If anything he just sounds too serious, as someone who’s read the whole series I have always imagined him as trying to make sure everyone is happy and sounding a little frantic and nervous in doing so, ur your voice is almost exactly how imagined it sounding! I think you’d be perfect honestly.
