A RainWing. She is Cherimoya's mother and in a relationship with Cheri's father, Papilionidae.  

Abiu is fierce and protective. She doesn't laze around as much as one would expect of a RainWing (though she does nap), and she's extremely hard-working. 

About 17 years (Dragon) old. Fully-grown. Equivalent to 35~ years (Human) old. 

  • Abiu (increasingly angry): You also have an obligation to teach our son. That's what this school was founded for in the first place. 

  • Abiu (calm, motherly): We’ve spoken to the headmaster, everything will be taken care of--you’ll be taken care of.

  • Abiu (again, motherly. she is not joking): Of course we will. An army of super-powered NightWing’s could stop me from seeing my son.
