Lieutenant Peadair (pad-ar) is Caffrey's second in command. They are matter-of-fact and well trained, having grown up in a military family. Peadair is the only one within their family to defect from Rowan to Cian, and this hesitancy comes through when things become a conflict of their loyalty to their chosen King and their blood family. Peadair has no true machinations or ambitions to move further up the ladder than they already are- wanting only to blend into the rank and file of the general military and be away from the politics of coups and Kings.
Distinct things about Peadair:
They are only comfortable with Caffrey and their underlings.
They follow a strict code of honor and find themselves at odds with it for betraying their loyalist family.
Peadair is quite religious- near to zealotry levels; this leads them to be quite superstitious.
(Matter of fact, military reporting style) It appears the bulk of the fires were set below the palace, in the merchant districts and among the commoner homes throughout the city. The palace itself appears relatively unharmed. However… There is enough damage that our squads will dance through the hells trying to search and sift through it all on our own.
(out of breath, almost hesitant) I hate to... I have to have to ask you to do this but... His majesty requires you in the palace gardens. Your... expertise... is required to question the few remaining souls we found alive in the rubble.
