Lauren Sinclair is the main character in the Purple Hyacinth story. She's a talented and intelligent police officer who can hear when people lie. A former detective, she was heavily affected by a traumatic event in her past. She can be social and funny when around friends and colleagues, and often uses those instances to mask her real feelings.
