Metal Sonic is essentially a robotic double of Sonic, that has been built over and over, each time learning more about Sonic and friends. In this iteration, he learns how to Airbend as well by watching Aang, though it takes him a long while to master the skill since he is not native to Aang's world. 

  • (helping Eggman) I am scanning for powerful life-forms, Doctor. I have found one, a boy with superior levels of energy. 

  • (guarding Aang's cell inside Eggman's makeshift base) Be still, boy, unless you want me to severely maim you. I only have not killed you because of the Doctor's orders. 

  • (senses Aang's power level) He is far surpassing any human that I have ever encountered. Perhaps it is best to change sides.
