One of the main human characters of the comic, Steven Woods is the leader of the Counter Kaiju Reaction Forces (CKR). Gruff Cowboy-type of soldier and he tends to keep his voice level with the situation.  Hes also kind of a smartass, but it comes from a place of confidence.  You can do whatever type of interpretation you wish thou. 

  • (confident) Do you know anyone else who took down three monsters at the controls of a giant robot with a little girl as their co-pilot?

  • (Sarcastic) Great. Whatever it is, it picked one hell of a weekend to show up here.

  • Woods. You can call me Steven. And I’ll just call you stupid for nearly getting yourself killed! What the hell were you thinking?!
