Mettaton is a confident, charismatic, and charming TV host that loves drama, action, and violence. He lives for his ratings and adores performing. He supposedly strikes a pose when he does something wrong. He shows a rather shallow appreciation for existence at times. However, despite his seemingly narcissistic personality, he deeply cares about the seemingly positive impact his show has had on the inhabitants of the Underground.

Haha thank you ^_^ I actually just got cast for an upcoming animated series called "New Tale" and I'll be MTT for that!
I'm personally not a big fan of the effects, I'm a firm believer that during a casting call you should provide two takes, one without effects and one with, or simply just one without. after all, in an audition it's your voice their interested in, not what effects you can slap on top of it
I can agree with one without and one with effects, but I've seen casting calls where the producer actually requests that you do your own effects, should you feel the character needs them. It can go both ways, really. In this regard it's Mettaton, and I personally believe this particular voice is not complete without the metallic echo. So I'm standing by my audition :) but thank you to take the time to share your opinion with me!
And if it's a debate of people who know SFX having an edge up on those who don't, I'm always willing to share how I help enhance certain voices ^_^
