(shouting) "But all is not lost, my dear children! As long as we appease, our people will be spared of the mountain god's fury! And through a caring, civilized, and consensual process, the young emperor has volunteered to be our sacrifice!"
(doubtful) "Hrmm...I don't like the looks of this one. Look how pink that hair is."
(shouting) "It seems we have two lucky individuals who willingly accepted our nation's pleas! Let us take this time to congratulate them!"
I like the gruffness in the take, but the voice itself is a bit too husky. The character is supposed to look like he's in his 80's, so he should sound frail yet cunning and deranged.
