Second Star: An Indie Sci-Fi Adventure RPG

Lee is the protagonist and player character of Second Star. They are the science officer of the Persistence and drive most of the events in the game. Lee will explore various planets on their search for the Second Star. Because they are the player character and this is an RPG, their responses can come in many forms (neutral, friendly, sarcastic, funny, blunt) when speaking with NPCs. During the game’s main cutscenes they will maintain a mostly casual, neutral tone. We are looking for 2 VAs for this role currently.

General/Neutral American accent
Pitch range between Tenor and Bass (any range of male voice) or Mezzo-soprano to soprano (mid-high range of female voice)
Speaking style: Calm but casual for the most part. Genuine curiosity for science and exploration.
# of Lines: This is the most dialogue heavy role in the game. You will be voicing dialogue with NPCs as well as reaction dialogue. 3 major scenes in addition to environmental reaction dialogue. The scenes vary between 5-30 lines each.
(Cordial and Relaxed) You sounded like you had your mind made up already during the meeting. Care to elaborate on that?
(Snarky and Funny) Have we taken carnivorous flora into account? That’s dangerous too. Could easily lose a foot in there, you know.
(Blunt and Firm) If you’re all for putting me in extreme weather conditions, your tech better be up to the task.
