The page description mentioned a few key points when it came to the voice. "The character will have a lot more sass and attitude but not rude or overly sarcastic. This needs to be a more high energy and believable character. This peach will be familiar in the plot but we are hoping that the performance will create an original portrail." I do understand that most people have the same voice in there head from all past games though so it does make sense.
