Definitely like the second one more. What kind of recording space are you recording in and what treatment if any do you have?

    I record at my desk in a corner in my room, with my audio levels somewhat low so you can’t hear my computer fan. I don’t do anything to the audio except cut out silence and outakes

      I would recommend, if you don't have any treatment for the walls, place the back of the mic to the largest and more bare, open area of the room. If you can that is. If you want you can try that and give it another shot.
