This character is probably either going to be really fun or living hell , it depends on how much you enjoy recording. Out of 294 lines in the script Kazuma has 155 of them and the majority are quite large.  Feel free to play around with this, look at some anime with Middle Aged men narration as well as the Noir Genre. Kazuma is well meaning but lazy, he hate's children and pompous people.  Lastly, Kazuma has no love life, he seems to think women bring nothing but problems which probably is true because he always falls for the bad girl. Play around with voices, he must be a bass baritone whichever accent you try. I do think, that North American is esential for this character, but if you can present a believable portrayal in another accent, I would be open to it.  There may be a want to over act and be sily try to tone it down if you can.

  • Tokyo's a safe town. Most people take that for granted though , it's just because they don't know what goes on behind the scenes here. The day started off like anyother , woke up the pleasing hour of 2:30 PM, had my omlet then made my way down to the crime scene. Oh by the way, in case you're wondering the name is Kazuma Tanazaki I am cop for the Tokyo city police department.  The day started with commisioner Takeshi giving me the run down.

  • Now listen here fucker. You say one more thing against that kid and I will have you fired so fast it'd make your pretty little head spin. You know here's the problem with educators like yourselves, you really oughta work in a factory. You're not interested in kids, just products.

  • She was a delight, a broad with a body, but more importantly a broad with answers which is exactly what I needed.
