Having grown up safely behind castle walls Rowan tends to be slightly arrogant and also mildly naive. He knows of the world, training to become a knight and a ruler ensured that he was among his people and his realm in the later years of his upbringing. Headstrong and confident to a fault, he can come off as brash and blunt- and not a little bit abrasive. He is kind, though, underneath it all; he only wants what’s best for his people.
