The Fifth King for Narrator
All knowing and all telling, this disembodied voice brings the listeners in (as there is no role for the Listener to play in this one) and drives the story forward in places where the dialogue may be overly heavy with exposition- provides explanations for things when recapping what happened in previous episodes.
(Nostalgic, as if telling a story long past) The hearts of mortal men are fickle things, always looking to the best horizon- always searching for the next treasure. They can’t help it, can they? That lust for power… and where there is power there is greed, and where greed resides so too does destruction. This is what happened to the people of Ustral. Swept up in the tides of greed and darkness, so many would lose their light to a fight not their own…
Gotta hand it to you on the 'elder' voice- again it's not what I was expecting and gave me a chuckle. The accent was pretty cool too; nice addition to the idea of a narrator. Thanks for the audition!
