Pinkie isn’t the only potion maker in Equestria. After discovering about another one, she is inducted into a potion battle, where the two must show off their potion-brewing skills and outdo the other: the loser is banished. She pretends to turn into a Rose Quartz herself, making her friends panic, but when the other thought she had one, Pinkie throws the real potion that turns Sweet September into a gem.
