Our Life: Steps 1 & 2 Roles

Age: 35-years-old (Step 1, her age is different in the other Steps)
Voice: Gentle, mature, medium pitch
Noelani is a patient and softhearted woman. She tends to care a bit too much, having all cheer temporarily deflate if her loved ones ever have to deal with a sad thing in life. She’ll coddle and spoil her children while reassuring her wife that it’ll be fine. Noelani is not a pushover, however. She’s strict when it comes to cleanliness and would never let anyone get away with dismissing her. She is also quite perceptive, though she’ll usually stay quiet about it all and just knowingly keep watch.
“Isn't that just the sweetest thing?”
(Happy, positive, but not especially excited/exuberant. Her kid is getting along with Cove and she’s glad they’re making friends.)
“Funny. I don't think that excuse will work if you're late for anyone other than your own mother, though.”
(Casual, a bit amused, and relaxed. Her kid made a sarcastic remark and she’s mildly entertained by that attitude.)
“Is that all that you have to say for yourself? You brought half the beach back with you.”
(A bit taken aback, not very pleased, but not raising her voice. Her kids got soaked at the beach when they weren’t supposed to and Noelani doesn’t appreciate the mess.)
