Knuckles is featured quite a few times within this comic series and has two sides to him.
Normal Knuckles: He is pretty much the same as he normally is within the Sonic games.
Souless Knuckles: When a souless, Knuckles is sickingly passionate about his master and his wishes; he often breathes heavily and speaks like the witches from the Disney movie Hercules.
In terms of which Knuckles voice we would like, we honestly do not mind so do a voice that you feel will suit the character.
This is a character that has to yell/scream at some point.
(Observing) Sonic look! It seems those hills are out best bet. By the looks of it, those chaotic explosions haven't reached there yet.
(Souless Knuckles) I have saved others. They are PERFECT now. Though, you know enough about perfection...Ultimate life form.
(Pushing Sonic out of the way of an explosion) WATCH OUT SONIC!
