Kayoko Sekino is the love interest of the main character, Zane Harper, and was a Japanese citizen before her parents moved to America in order to get out of Japan's area due to fears of Godzilla returning. She decides to tag along with Zane and Fumino Serizawa in order to convince Dr. Serizawa to use the super weapon.
