Dear goodness, I love your style. For the most part, the sprite style is very changeable, as long as the character designs and outfits are kept (the sprites and CGs are different art styles in the first game, but the designs and outfits the same, for example). However, if you are interested, I think your style would be very fitting for another project I have open called No Death in the Dollhouse if you are interested in checking it out.
