An amateur pilot and close friend of Lt. Commander Roy Fokker, Rick's initial exposure to the Robotech Odyssey comes when he visits Macross City for the trial launch of the SDF-1. Through a set of wildly improbable circumstances, Rick becomes one of the major players in an intergalaztic war that will determine the fate of the human race. Rick constantly struggles with his inner feelings. He must come to grips with the age-old fears of ascent to manhood as well as the true meaning of courage. He does not approve of violence and his reluctance to accept a comission in the Robotech Defense Force is tainted with an uderlying fear of the unknown.

▶ You're the one who taught me the booster climb.
Roy
▶ I shot down over 180 planes during the war.
Rick
▶ So, you're proud of being a killer?
Roy
▶ It was a job. It's hard to explain... When you start flying those fighter planes--well something happens inside of you and nothing seems the same.
Rick
▶ Maybe you're right. But for now, why don't you start by giving me the grand tour.
Lisa
▶ Cut the excuses and take off immediately. That's and order.
Rick
▶ what do you mean, take off immediately, the whole place is blowing apart. The runaways demolished...
Lisa
▶ Runway 2 is clear. Stop waisting time. You're holding up the rest of the squadron.
Rick
▶ Alright, if you insist. Here goes!
I saw the name Vic and then the picture of Edward. I'm curious now about your take on the character. Also the audition was good. What sort of mic are you using?
